Cultural Salon Program Series

The event series in our Cultural Salon Program are 3-4 faciliated conversations presented in themed gatherings. Based on the central program theme, each event is uniquely shaped around a specific cultural focus, creative work, historical topic, artistic theme, or community collaboration.

Participants explore concepts in an experience that blends guided conversation, immersive activities, and curated atmosphere.

These events may include

  • book discussions,

  • poetry readings,

  • local history conversations,

  • art-inspired journaling,

  • storytelling circles,

  • creative workshops,

  • and other culturally rich formats.

Story Circles

Our Story Circle format is a structured group process in which participants respond to a shared prompt by telling stories from their own lived experience while others listen attentively 

Unlike debates or discussions, the focus is on storytelling rather than argument, allowing patterns, values, and shared truths to emerge naturally. Lived experience becomes shared knowledge and the power of story and collaboration is harnessed to reveal the beauty of the human experience.

Themed story circles can include journaling or another creative activity to help participants reflect on the conversation and make a keepsake that captures their insights or experiences.
